Pau!Pau!

Toni and Chris neither went to school together nor did they hang out or had anything to do with each other up until the early summer of 2010, when “Sektor Heimat-Step into the Arena” opened with a bang. And although neither ever got the “Go” salary bonus or bought a fancy street, all of a sudden their Monopoly game restarted and a new era began.

In the game of live the dice kept falling and many incredible parties in a variety of amazing clubs and venues were the result:“Rosis” - Berlin, “Unsichtbar” – Saarbruecken with “Klangspinat” & „Heimatmelodien“, „Sektor Heimat“, „Roter Raum“, „We are your friends“, „Das Silo tanzt“, „Magnet Events“, „Blau Niteclub“, „Das Modul“, „Stereo Bar 33“, „Fete de la Musique“, “Bumm Tschak”, “Mo Club”, “Peng 420”, “Solution Evolution”, “Rappelkiste” and “audion” should be named as some of the most important SteppsEspecially in our business we keep asking ourselves: Just where in the world were we last weekend, how does this influence our music, how are our styles evolving and why does it feel the way it does as the wheels keep turning. The dice keep flying in our “Dj Monopoly” as we buy parties instead of streets and set new milestones instead of hotels on our game board.

As one of these new “hotel milestones” we created “Freunde, Groove und Liebe”, which happens every couple of months at “Mo Club” in collaboration with “SYNPSNPOGO” and “SD Concepts”. This new underground party hit it off with a blast with artists such as “Alex Flatner”, “Müller & Mitch” or “The Chosen Two” and proves once again we know and love our game.

Pau!Pau! however is not limited to parties. We share a passion for photography and T-shirt print design and manage our own record label “Twin Town Productions”, which celebrates its eleventh anniversary this year.

We both vary tremendously in our style preferences. Chris enjoys playing at tech-house parties and lines up before or after acts as Masomenos, Seth Troxler, André Galluzzi, Seuil, Margaret Dygas, Heidi, Einzelkind, Vera, Markus, Kavka, Lopazz, Jacuzzi Boys, Roger 23 or Sascha Krohn.

Toni on the other hand prefers spinning Elektrobeats, which enables him to play outside of Germany and Europe. He has different projects under various aliases cooking in his kitchen and is constantly on the move with the artist of Twin Town Productions, as new records are produced, released and promoted.

Everything can but doesn’t have to have a specific form. Everything is colorful, everything is art.
