Märtini Brös

Twelve years on from their first ever 12" release on steve buǵs historic Raw Elements imprint clé and mike vamp are still causing waves across the electronic music community, with their unique ability to combine utterly funky, floormelting electronic tracks and a natural song-writing musical ability that often begs belief.
After releasing 3 albums and countless singles and remixes with their rich, playful and catchy sound that helped define a movement for more than one generation of more refined club-goers, they are now back with their fourth longplayer " moved by mountains", a majestic, dextrous voyage through the many styles and zones the pair share a passion for.
let ́s hear what the boys have to say about that matter:
"After years of working together as Märtini Brös, in 2008, we decided to hold back for a while and go on a quest to search for the essence of our very existence; searching for whatever drives us, inspires us, to look for the original formula that used to make us want to be Märtini Brös in the first place: we called it AMBROESIA.“
After we managed to open the door to this secret place, we wandered the valleys, crossed the rivers and climbed the mountains of this yet mostly unexplored world, faced countless adventures, experienced colourful landscapes and gathered together with the most fascinating characters. We sang with the beautiful children of Mumu, had a jolly good time in a yellow jazz joint, got hammered (several times), were introduced to the upside downs of physics, helped to bring all colors home and met the most amazing little boy named Nemo... but by the end of the year we still hadn ́t found AMBROESIA, the elixir, the grail, the juice. Our guess: it doesn't exist, after all.
..But there was enough inspiration on the way for us to get back in our studio and write "Moved by Mountains". You might want to see it as a diary of this journey, the story of a two-man gang, conquering an unknown world, searching for something, that doesn ́t exist... and in the process, finding so much more.
"What`s there left so say, go listen for yerselves!"
