Kotelett & Zadak

Born in Garmisch Partenkirchen in 1977, Martin Zadak is spinning records for more than 10 Years now. In 1993 he first got in touch with electronic music. He got influenced by artists like Christian Vogel, DJ Hell who played legendary sets in clubs like Ultraschall, and the Omen in the mid 90´s. After he moved to Berlin in 1999, he more and more grew into the local electronic music scene and focused on his DJ career.

Born in 1980, Kotelett moved from his hometown Bielefeld to Berlin in 2003. Influenced by the minimalistic sound of that time, Kotelett redefined his DJ style while increasingly playing at parties in Berlin. After djing in many clubs together Martin Zadak and Kotelett decided in 2008 to form a team to combine their skills. While the focus in the early years of both their careers definitely laid on Djing, they now also focus on producing their own sound witch lead to their producing debut as a team in late 2008. 

Both producing and Djing will play a major role for them in the future.

Their sound today can hardly be described. They love to play after hour sets that can even last up to eight hours, where their sets are dominated by deep minimal house grooves. On the other hand they know exactly how to please a huge crowd during primetime hours, providing a pumping and energetic sound.
